Finance Background

This section of my biography will likely change often.  I am currently in business school, and my credentials will change - especially if I do start my PhD next year.  Even before I entered into the MBA program at the University of Akron in the fall of 2010, however, I already had 3 years of portfolio management experience.  I have experience investing in both mutual funds and common stocks, and with each week that goes by, I add to my knowledge and experience investing.  While I am no Peter Lynch, I do have the patience of successful investors, as well as a quantitative background and an eye for good companies.  I look forward to using my talents in finance to benefit charities, and I look forward to welcoming your contributions.

Sports Background

I always loved sports growing up, looking at both team and individual sports as a way of coming together with others for friendly competition, relationship building, and for having fun.

I didn't start playing sports seriously until college (Emmanuel College, Boston, MA), where I played 3 NCAA Division III sports for 4 years.

I ran cross country....

I ran track and threw discuss....

And I played volleyball.

After using up my years of eligibility and focusing more on academics and professional goals, I now use my workout time mostly to run long, relaxing distances through the parks and trails of Akron, where I live and completed my first marathon.

Moving forward, want to leverage my love of running to help raise money for my charitable trust, which I'll manage and use to donate to charity.
